History’s Continuance: Ocracoke Restoration

By Heather Frese | Thursday, June 15, 2017

There’s a tangible feeling of history when you step into Ocracoke Restoration, a small shop specializing in stained glass, jewelry, gifts and outdoor decor. Housed in a 1930s cottage restored by the owners, this shop combines exquisite items from the past such as estate and vintage jewelry with modern handcrafted statuary created from antique molds, crafted on the Outer Banks. There’s a little something for everyone, a sense of the history’s continuance into the present.

Today, owner Carol Pahl finds herself ready for her next adventure and hopes Ocracoke Restoration will continue with a new owner. This successful business (they sell more than 3,000 pieces of that jewelry every season!) could be run from anywhere and is turn-key, including everything from cash register, website, accounting program, furniture, inventory and more. It encompasses everything except the house, which is the owners’ retirement home, giving the new owner an opportunity to expand. As time moves on, all who love Ocracoke Restoration hope to see this charming business continue its story with a new chapter. Interested? Call Carol today!
