Bookings have slowed down a little bit for everyone, but the fishing definitely hasn’t. If anything, it’s been getting better.
The mahi have finally shown up and seem to be fairly plentiful. Yesterday we got around some birds and picked at tunas, catching singles and doubles throughout the day. Today we had another good mahi catch and added a wahoo and a few tunas to the box.
The billfish bite was really good today too. Boats that went looking for sails were catching anywhere from three to a dozen per boat.
Nearshore fishing has been steady with bluefish and Spanish mackerel.
We’ve got Wednesday open for an all-day trip, Thursday and Friday afternoons open for nearshore, and a few days available next week.
