Rains over the last week or so have alleviated the drought on the east side of NC, for which our fruit trees are most grateful. Here's hoping our fellow North Carolinians on the Charlotte side of the state benefit from rains with minimal flooding. As the weekend forecast for Raleigh and Charlotte continues to look pretty, we trust travel concerns are alleviating. Keep an eye on National Weather Service:
