Pretty exciting day for us as we kept getting great reports all the way to Hatteras. The Drum were thick around the piers this morning and through the day.
Something we don't see often though, and one of the coolest things today.... about mid day we got a call from one of our friends, a inshore/ nearshore Charter Boat Captain... they were catching 100+ lbs BLUEFINS about 2 or 3 (if that) miles off the beach! They went looking for Drum and found Bluefins. That doesn't happen everyday... but it could happen tomorrow or the next! If you were thinking about trying to fish this weekend ... you should!
