June 4th is our next event! Surfin' Spoon, Outer Banks Boil Company and Kiiind Cocktails will be collaborating on a very special event in Downtown Manteo! In this event you will be learning how to make (and drinking) three signature cocktails using some ingredients donated by Surfin’ Spoon as well as enjoying a plethora of fresh, boiled seafood by Outer Banks Boil Co. Jayla Giani will be doing a live painting that we will be raffling off with proceeds going to a local hunger coalition. Come join us and see what happens when a collective of local businesses come together for fun and a good cause!

? HOT OFF THE PRESSES, autographed copies of the brand-new 2024 calendars from Wes Snyder Photography are now IN STOCK and available for purchase in the Tavern gift shop! Not only do we have the standard wall calendar, but we also have a limited number of the variant “Nightscapes” edition which features many of Wes’s incredible nighttime photos showing the MILKY WAY behind many iconic Outer Banks landmarks. They’ve got a great double-bill of movies all weekend long and the best popcorn this side of jolly old England. Before or after the movie, enjoy a fantastic meal or a round of drinks at any of the awesome bars & restaurants around town!

Yesterday we were honoured to participate in a preschool Field Trip to Downtown Manteo for the students at The Little School of Fish! The kids got a chance to tour our facility and get a behind-the-scenes look into the inner workings of a commercial kitchen. (Of course, all equipment was off and sharp objects stowed away to provide a safe environment for the littles!) Special thanks to the amazing preschool teachers as well as all of the parents who volunteered to chaperone this fun & educational day in the Town of Manteo!

? “Lovin’ is what I got!” ? Join us at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Downtown Manteo on Wednesday, August 2nd for SUBLIME live in concert! Our “Sidewalk Sippers” outside bar will be open all summer long so you can park your car and grab a beer or cocktail for your walk around downtown or over the bridge to the concert. It’s going to be an increase summer of music and fun here in the Town of Manteo…the Heart of the Outer Banks!
