Well this beer is essentially a tip of the proverbial hat to those hard-working commercial & recreational fisherman of the Outer Banks who desire a refreshing beer at the end of a long day on the water. This rental home just joined our program on 1/3/25. "The Turtle Shell Cottage" is an Outer Banks Rental Home located near the Harris Teeter grocery store and is only a few blocks to beach access to the Atlantic Ocean! This Kill Devil Hills Rental Home caters to outdoor enthusiasts, providing built-in swings on exterior decking, hammock, cornhole, grill, beach chairs and other beach items, and more! As for a rainy day on the Outer Banks, "The Turtle Shell Cottage" has you covered, providing an entire game room filled with fun amenities like foosball, dart board, and more! With other comforting amenities like WiFi, Keurig coffee maker, and laundry room, you'll be set for an uninterrupted OBX Vacation!

If you plan to be in the Outer Banks area and have an interest in finding out more about the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, consider stopping by on Wednesdays this summer for Mustang Mornings at the Farm.

Beginning May 28th, the Betsy Dowdy Equine Center will be open to the public on Wednesdays from 10 am – 2 pm.

Visit the farm on the mainland in Grandy and meet the rescued Banker horses currently in their care on the walking tour, where you can spend time with their staff.

Attend a free movie screening of The Secret of Corolla, a 32-minute documentary on the Banker mustangs, the culture, and lifestyle of the island. There will be a Q&A directly after the screening with the CWHF staff.

Suggested donation of $10 per vehicle at the gate.
