Cold but not windy today. Air temp 39 degrees; water temp 50 degrees. Winds W at 5 knots. Low tide 7:14 a.m. High tide 12:54 p.m. Ocean calm with tiny waves rolling in.

Beachcombers -- Our education crew had some neat finds including whelk egg cases, driftwood and even shark vertebrae while beachcombing on northside of Pier earlier this week. They use the finds in their program, Beach Explorations.

Sandy Stroll -- Another super morning at oceanfront, Nags Head.
