The Made in NC Awards shines a spotlight on North Carolina’s incredible artisans and creative craftspeople. Did you know that Sweater Box Confections is the longest running vendor at the Town of Manteo's Downtown Market? Their cookies are not only yummy sweet treats but they are so very pretty! We want to thank Mrs. Chris Carroll, owner of Sweater Box Confections, for her long standing dedication and commitment to the Downtown Market. The market wouldn't be the same without you, and we love ya! ?

“Keeping it local whenever we can” is the name of the game, and this weekend we’re excited to be featuring FRESH LOCAL RADISHES from Island Farm on our English Garden Salad! Though the historic working farm here on Roanoke Island is closed to visitors for the season, they offer periodic “veggie drops” throughout the winter months, which sell out QUICKLY. We were fortunate enough to grab some of these beautiful radishes grown in that dark, rich Roanoke Island soil. Drop by this week and taste the many local flavors at Lost Colony Tavern!
