Scupper is obvious to some as a nautical term for a hole or opening in the transom of a boat to let water on deck escape but, Scupper is also a nod to the Scuppernong grape which is the NC State Fruit and is also the first known cultivated grape in North America, of which the original vine is located right here in Manteo. As always, our deck is dog friendly!
