May 31, 2022 Captain Alex reports: "We had a special day today with long-time clients Nancy and Thom Edwards. They fished all over the world together and today Nancy spread Thom's ashes in the Gulf Stream. I feel very honored to have taken them on their final fishing trip and to have helped Nancy fulfill Thom's wishes. We hooked a beast of a blue marlin shortly after we spread his ashes and it broke us off. I like to think that was Thom saying hello and being free. RIP, Capt. Thom. May the seas be calm and the wind always be at your back." Mary sends her love to Nancy and remembers the fun talks back in the day about Baltimore and the Preakness. Jerry and Capt. Dan send their very best as well and know, too, about that spiritual connection gifted to us mortals by the sea and its creatures, especially the blue marlin.
